After two decades of playing fantasy football, Ben Ashley likes to think he knows a thing or two about pro football.
Now you have a chance to prove that you know more.
Every week, Ben will select the winner of every pro football game and publicly post his picks. Make your own selections, follow the games throughout the week, and see whether you can finish with a better record.
Beat Ben and Win Lunch
The participant with the most correct picks each week will win Lunch on Ben—a $20 gift card to a featured local restaurant—but only if that participant finishes with more correct picks than Ben.
A tie with Ben won’t do it. If the week’s top participant ties Ben or finishes behind him, no prize will be awarded that week.
In other words:
Pick more winners than every other participant.
Finish with more correct picks than Ben.
Win Lunch on Ben.

How It Works
Use the weekly entry form to select the winner of every scheduled game.
Predict the combined score of the designated tiebreaker game.
Submit your selections before the weekly deadline.
Compare your results with Ben’s publicly posted picks.
If you finish atop the field and beat Ben’s score, lunch is on him.
Each weekly challenge stands on its own. There are no season standings and no season-long commitment required.
Official Rules
These Official Rules govern each weekly Beat Ben pro football pick’em challenge beginning in September 2026.
1. Eligibility
Beat Ben is open to West Virginia residents of any age.
Participants under 18 may make their own football selections, but a parent or legal guardian must submit the entry on their behalf, agree to these Official Rules, and provide the adult’s contact information. Any prize won by a participant under 18 will be delivered to the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
Employees of Ashley Insurance Agency and members of their families may participate, provided they are not directly involved in reviewing entries, scoring the challenge, or determining that week’s winner.
Ben Ashley is not eligible to win. Any other person who assists with scoring or administering a particular week’s challenge is also ineligible to win that week.
Void where prohibited by law.
2. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, insurance policy, insurance quote, referral, or other transaction is required to enter or win. Purchasing insurance or requesting a quote will not affect a participant’s eligibility or chance of winning.
3. Weekly Entry Period
Each weekly challenge begins when that week’s official entry form is published and ends at the date and time stated on the form.
All selections must be submitted before the deadline. Late, incomplete, duplicate, or improperly submitted entries will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
Participants must complete the official weekly entry form by:
* Providing the requested contact information;
* Selecting one winner for every listed game;
* Submitting a predicted combined score for the designated tiebreaker game; and
* Accepting these Official Rules.
Only one entry per person and email address is permitted each week. If multiple entries are submitted by the same person, only the first complete entry will be eligible.
5. Ben’s Picks
Ben will complete and publicly post his weekly selections before the entry deadline. Once posted, his selections are final and cannot be changed.
Ben participates only as the score to beat and is not eligible to receive a prize.
6. Scoring
Each correctly selected game winner is worth one point. Incorrect selections receive zero points.
Scores will be based on the official final results of the games included on the weekly form.
If a game is canceled, postponed beyond the weekly scoring period, or ends in a tie, the contest administrator may exclude that game from scoring for all participants and Ben.
7. Determining the Winner
The eligible participant with the most correct selections will be the week’s top picker.
However, the top picker will receive the weekly prize only if that person’s number of correct selections is greater than Ben’s.
Finishing ahead of Ben qualifies for the prize.
Tying Ben does not qualify.
Finishing behind Ben does not qualify.
If nobody finishes with more correct selections than Ben, no prize will be awarded for that week.
If multiple participants beat Ben and share the highest score, the participant whose predicted combined score for the designated tiebreaker game is closest to the game’s actual combined score will win.
If a tie remains after applying the tiebreaker, the participant whose valid entry was submitted first will be declared the winner.
All scoring and eligibility decisions are final.
8. Weekly Prize
The qualifying weekly winner will receive **Lunch on Ben**, consisting of one $20 gift card to the local restaurant designated for that week.
The approximate retail value of the prize is $20. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or substituted by the winner. Any unawarded prize does not roll over or increase a future week’s prize.
9. Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address or telephone number provided on the entry form.
If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond within 48 hours, or is later found to be ineligible, the contest administrator may select the next-highest qualifying participant or decline to award the prize.
The winner’s name or first name and last initial, score, and tiebreaker result may be announced on the sponsor’s website and social-media pages.
10. General Conditions
Participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and accept the contest administrator’s decisions as final.
The contest administrator reserves the right to disqualify entries involving false information, duplicate identities, attempted manipulation, automated submissions, or other conduct that interferes with the fair administration of the challenge.
The contest administrator may modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel a weekly challenge if technical problems, schedule changes, fraud, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the challenge from being administered fairly.
By participating, entrants release the contest sponsor and its employees and representatives from claims arising from participation or the acceptance or use of a prize, except where prohibited by law.
